Day 1: Arrival in Paro
Your journey begins as you arrive at Paro International Airport, the gateway to Bhutan. Paro is a charming valley town, home to many sacred sites and Bhutan’s only international airport. After a warm welcome, transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring Paro Dzong, a fortress-monastery that offers panoramic views of the valley. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Bhutanese dinner and relax.
Day 2: Excursion to Taktsang Monastery
After breakfast, embark on a hike to the legendary Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger’s Nest. Perched on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley, this monastery is one of Bhutan’s most iconic landmarks. The hike provides stunning views and a spiritual atmosphere. After visiting the monastery, return to Paro for lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the local market. Dinner will be at a traditional Bhutanese restaurant.
Day 3: Thimphu Exploration
Travel to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, after breakfast. Thimphu is a blend of tradition and modernity, with its bustling markets, traditional architecture, and vibrant cultural scene. Visit the Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, and the National Library. After lunch, explore the Handicrafts Emporium and the local market. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Thimphu – Punakha – Wangdi – Thimphu
Start your day with a drive to Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan. Visit the stunning Punakha Dzong, situated at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Continue to Wangdue Phodrang, known for its traditional bamboo products and slate carvings. Return to Thimphu in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Thimphu – Paro
After breakfast, return to Paro. En route, visit the Simtokha Dzong, one of the oldest fortresses in Bhutan. Upon arrival in Paro, visit the National Museum housed in the Ta Dzong. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring Paro town and its surroundings. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage and serene landscapes.

Arrive at the Druk Air check in counter, International Airport, 2 hours prior to departure time.
Fly into Paro Bhutan. As you start approaching Bhutan, you can see breathtaking views of the Great Himalayas on this flight. Arrive Paro where you will be welcomed to the Kingdom by your guide.
After 15-20 minutes drive from the airport you'll reach your hotel. Check in to the Hotel. Overnight Paro.
Hike to Taktsang Monastery. Taktsang, meaning "Tiger's nest," is built around a cave in which Guru Rimpoche (Padmasambhawa) mediated, clings seemingly impossible to a cliff of rock at 3,000 feet above the valley floor. For the local people it is a place of pilgrimage, but for a tourist, a hike up to the monastery is exhausting, thrilling and mystical. The legend has it that Guru Rimpoche is said to have flown to the site of the monastery on the back of a tigress from Tibet and meditated in the cave there for three months.
Later, transfer to Thimphu.
The drive from Paro to Thimphu is spectacularly scenic with magnificent Monasteries and Stupas in the valleys and mountain tops. Experience the "Last Buddhist Himalayan Kingdom" on Earth and take precious memories back home. Check in to your hotel for Overnight at Thimphu.

Visit Botanical garden (Zoo) where one can see Yak and Takin, the National wild animal of Bhutan.
Drive up to viewpoint and take a hike beyond to see the clear picture of Thimphu Valley.
Downtown Thimphu on foot visiting Handicrafts Emporium and other Arts & Crafts stores. Buy stunning kiras which can be used and bed covers or wall decoration, jewelry and many more. Overnight Thimphu.
Full Day Sightseeing trip to Punakha and Wangdi Towns. Punakha was the old capital of Bhutan and it is still the winter residence of Central Monastic Body. Punakha Dzong is the most Magnificent and Largest Dzong in Bhutan.
Return to Thimphu for Overnight.
Morning, time at leisure to explore around Thimphu town on your own or relax in the hotel. Afternoon, transfer to Paro for Overnight.
After breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport for your departure flight.
